At Werk, health & fitness isn’t about punishment or perfection—it’s about liberation, joy, and building strength on your own terms. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ folks and beginners who may have felt alienated by mainstream fitness culture. My approach is rooted in empathy, education, and empowerment: no shame, no pressure, just consistent support and an accountability structure that works with your body and your goals. Whether we’re lifting weights or untangling limiting beliefs, we’re always moving forward—together.

About Me

Hey, I’m Remy Attig PhD, CPT (they/them) — ISSA certified personal trainer, wellness nerd, and your queerest hype person in the gym. For years, I felt small and out of place at the gym. But, some great queer-affirming trainers helped me learn to make the gym my own. Now I’m strong, healthy, and I’m not scared of showing up as my authentic self.

Fast-forward to today, I help others build confidence, strength, and routines that feel good and sustainable. My vibe? Queer, body-positive, and zero tolerance for gym bro nonsense. Whether you’re picking up a dumbbell for the first time or getting back into a groove, I’m here to support, educate, and cheer you on every step of the way.

I’m also available for coaching in Spanish and French.

The following three virtual coaching packages are designed for you to complete at home or a gym near you. We’ll work together to make sure all exercises use available equipment in your facility.

Getting to Werk

Just getting started? This two-week intro package is perfect if you’re new to fitness, new to training with a coach, or just need a gentle but grounded way to begin showing up for yourself.

Includes:

  • 1 live video session (60 min): goals, movement screen, and Q&A

  • 1 personalized 2-week fitness plan

  • 1 form feedback video (client sends videos for feedback)

  • 1 email check-in with adjustments

    Price: $150 for 2-week package

Keep Werking

Ready to start building strength and consistency with expert support? This four-week program gives you a personalized training plan, weekly check-ins, and the kind of accountability that helps you keep showing up.

Includes:

  • 1 live video session (60 min): goals, movement screen, and Q&A

  • Customized 4-week training plan

  • 1 live 30-min check-in at week 2 (video)

  • Weekly email or chat check-ins

    Price: $300 for 4-week package

Werk Hard

You’ve got goals — now let’s build a plan that actually fits your life. This four-week intensive gives you a personalized training program, a full intake/progress session, and weekly 1:1 coaching calls to keep you on track, supported, and feeling strong as hell.

This option is great for those who want to hit the ground running, or as a continuation to either of the other packages.

Includes:

  • 1 live video session (60 min): goals, movement screen, and Q&A

  • Customized 4-week training plan

  • 3 live weekly 30 min check-ins in weeks 2, 3, and 4 (video)

  • Weekly email or chat check-ins

    Price: $400 for intense 4-week package
